I was thrilled to sell this piece to a buyer from across the country who was looking for a piece of art that had a blueberry field. The buyer wanted it as a wedding gift for her Mom who had been proposed to in a blueberry field in Nova Scotia.
I have always loved the look of the fields when in the fall when the leaves have left the branches and they turn into a sea of red. The location of this painting called "Red Blueberry Field" is Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, Canada but I'm sure it is similar to the fields of Nova Scotia.
